How can you summarize a human being in a few paragraphs? The answer is you can’t, for there are simply too many multifarious layers that embody the soul. Infact some individuals spend their entire lives dedicated to finding out who they are, coming to the conclusion that they’ve barely touched the surface. So what makes you think I can achieve this in about 1000 words? Besides I’m not here to recite my life story for that would be exceptionally long, untouchably personal and quite possibly a tad boring for you.
Wherever shall I start? The clichéd answer to this may be at say…the beginning? That could be a good idea but it raises the question of where or what precisely is the beginning? When I started designing, when I was born or even when the universe came into being? Anyway, enough stalling, who am I?
I live in New Zealand, that country in the southern hemisphere known for things like Lord of the Rings, sheep and rugby. I consider myself to be British, Welsh and Celtic, as my family and heritage originate from there. My name comes from the Welsh/Celtic Goddess Rhiannon, great divine queen, and goddess of the moon, fertility, horses, wisdom, transformation, the otherworld, rebirth, inspiration and magic. I have two younger sisters, Siobhan and Carys, whom I love very much and get along with well. I live with my mother, my sisters and my two cats. <3
You may ask why am I here, on the web and sharing my life with you? Well for starters it is for me, as a record to remember myself as I am, was and will be. To further understand and expand upon who I know myself to be, and to go through every happy and sad moment or thought for time is a ambivalent thing that goes so incredibly fast and I don’t want to let any opportunity pass me
Another reason is this is for YOU, the reader/viewer. The reader/viewer is a very broad term and that is the way I’d like to leave it. For you could be my family, friends, children, descendents, partner/boyfriend, some random person on the other side of the world, potential any of the previously listed or even a future archaeologist historian/professor maybe finding something relating to this website and using it to define life in the 21st centaury. Well, whoever you are I hope you find your time on my website to be extremely very good and come out feeling inspired, wiser, happier, thoughtful or the like.
I love the written language and I find words, reading, writing and speaking to be very powerful. For example, from reading you can gain vast amounts of information and although experience makes you wiser I believe just pondering upon ideas, characters etc in a story is immensely important, you can gain insights into other societies, times and people. Also reading can take you away from reality and be an enriching escape; I think everyone needs something like that now and then. Reading, writing and speaking are all ways of expressing yourself and communicating (two important things to me) with others, again gaining new ideas and promotes thinking. I love emotions and feel deeply, I don’t shy away from emotions whether positive or negative I believe it is important and relieving to feel them fully. I love thinking about…well everything and discussing deep, or even trivial, matters intimately.
Creativity and Imagination run my world, both are near & dear to my heart as I'm a very creative person. I have an immense love of music, it inspires me and heals me. I'm listening nearly 24/7, to all sorts of musicians and genres. Whenever I'm upset or frustrated it cools me down, healing any imbalances. Music helps me work and think better as well. Technology is another major aspect of my life that I cannot live without; I'm perpetually attached to my computer, media device, cell phone and more. I've been website designing since I was 12 years old, I self-taught myself and I'm constantly learning and improving.When I’m into something I’m really into it, I’ll concentrate all my time and energy into it, but when I’m not into something I tend to be lazy and procrastinate a lot. I can be quite passionate, dedicated and borderline obsessive sometimes but when something doesn’t hold my interest I will flutter onto something that does. I’m in my last year of College/High School and I’m studying Computer Studies, Art Design, Classical Studies, Creative Writing and English. Next year, I’m hoping
I’m open-minded and see everything from many points of view and opinions, so I have high levels of sympathy. I’m accepting of all races, religions, cultures, genders, sexual-orientations and so on. My belief and value system is a bit complex, I might write upon that later and if you want to learn more ask me but basically I believe in reincarnation, soul, karma, energy, balance, cycles, elements/nature etc. I believe that everyone has rights, no matter who or what they are, and that no one should harm another unless in self-defence etc. Also I’m a Vegetarian/Vegan.
